When New Bridge Marketing Group teamed up with The North Face for a two-campus activation tour, they needed more than just a camera crew—they needed a creative partner who could capture energy, move fast, and deliver content in real time.
That’s where Kasey Bruce Media stepped in.
Over two action-packed weeks, we traveled to University of Washington and CU Boulder to film student-centered events designed to elevate The North Face brand on college campuses.
Our goal was to create fresh, dynamic content for social and YouTube that made students stop scrolling.
The Challenge: speed & Quality
This wasn’t your average branded video project. The North Face needed:
High-quality video and photo content that reflected the excitement of live campus events.
It had to be good, but not TOO GOOD. As the intended final deliverables were for social media.
Instant turnarounds, including editing and delivery for social the same day
Footage that captured not just the product—but the vibe, the energy, and the student culture
All while working across two different states, managing gear logistics, and staying on-brand with a major national client.
our creative approach:
At each campus, we had just a few days to capture everything—high-energy event footage, authentic student reactions, and campus lifestyle shots—all while staying ahead of a tight social posting schedule.
Our setup included:
A GoPro rigged inside a student locker, remotely operated via smartphone.
Drone shots for sweeping campus visuals.
Handheld cameras and audio setups for interviews and crowd interaction.
We’d film on the ground, then head straight to the nearest Starbucks on campus, plug in, and start editing on the spot. One moment that stood out? We captured a killer locker POV shot using the GoPro, pulled the footage to my laptop, cut the teaser video on-location, and had it reviewed and approved by The North Face’s on-site marketing lead within an hour.
Then? Right back outside to keep shooting.
This content loop (film, edit, review, publish) repeated for several days, all with one goal: creative content, fast turnarounds, and staying on-brand.
The Results: 4 Million+ Views
The first teaser video hit 4 million views in under 24-hours. That’s the kind of traction you get when strategy, storytelling, and fast execution come together.
Final deliverables included:
Multiple vertical cuts for TikTok and IG Stories.
A branded YouTube video for long-form reach.
B-roll content for future campaigns and internal marketing.
