Event videos that keep working long after the lights go down.
San Francisco event videography for conferences, galas, and community events. You spent months planning this. We make sure it fills next year’s seats, impresses your sponsors, and gives your team content for months.
Teaser 24–48 hrs · Final 7–10 days · From $5,000 · Bay Area +
[01] The problem
Your event happens once. The footage has to last all year.
Here's the thing nobody tells you when you hire an event videographer: the shoot is the easy part. The hard part is a calm, invisible crew that doesn't miss the keynote, doesn't block your sponsors, and actually delivers on time.
We've seen too many organizers get a three-minute slideshow six weeks later, long after anyone's paying attention. Our whole process is built so that doesn't happen to you.
[02] Recent work
Galas & award nights
Your donors and honorees showed up for something that matters. We capture the speeches, the reactions, and the energy in the room, then cut it into a recap you can play at the next board meeting, drop into a donor appeal, or use to sell next year's tables.
Perfect for: fundraisers, award ceremonies, anniversaries, and company milestones.
Conferences & summits
Keynotes, panels, and hallway conversations, all in one tight recap. We coordinate with your AV team ahead of time, pull clean audio from the board, and deliver social cuts while attendees are still posting about it.
Perfect for: tech conferences, leadership summits, trade shows, and hackathons. Check out our Affirm Hackathon recap or WACA corporate gala.

What a great event video does for you
Sells next year's event

event Video Production FAQs
-
Event video production with KBM typically runs from $5,000 to $30,000, depending on event length, crew size, and how many deliverables you need afterward. A single-day event with one camera operator and a short recap video sits at the lower end; multi-day events, multiple camera angles, drone coverage, or a full deliverable package (recap video, social cutdowns, raw highlight reels) push toward the higher end.
-
Event work compresses the usual five phases — discovery, pre-production, filming, editing, and nurture — into a tighter window since the event date is fixed. Discovery and pre-production (shot list, run-of-show, crew logistics) usually happen 1-3 weeks out, filming is locked to the event day(s), and editing typically takes 1-2 weeks after the event for a recap video, faster if you need a quick same-week highlight for social. Live or same-day edits are possible but need to be scoped during discovery, not requested after the crew is booked.
-
Events are expensive and fast — most of what happens on the day disappears the moment it ends unless someone's capturing it with intention. Event video solves that: it turns a single day into evergreen content (recap videos, social clips, sponsor deliverables, next-year promo footage) instead of a handful of phone photos that get used once and forgotten. It also solves the problem of internal teams trying to run the event and document it, which usually means neither gets done well.
-
KBM sends a small, senior crew that knows how to work around a live event — not interrupt it — and shows up with a plan (shot list, run-of-show, key moments to capture) rather than winging it on the day. Instead of handing over a raw dump of footage, KBM delivers an edited story built for how you'll actually use it, whether that's a sponsor recap, a social series, or both.
-
This is built for organizations running conferences, fundraisers, community events, product launches, or brand activations who want the event to keep generating value after it ends — not just be a memory. It fits teams that already put real budget and planning into the event itself and want the content to match that investment, rather than treating video as an afterthought.
-
The main drivers are event length (single day vs. multi-day), crew size (one camera vs. multiple angles), and deliverable count — a single recap video costs less than a recap plus a full social cutdown package. Add-ons like drone coverage, interviews captured during the event, or a fast same-day turnaround also move the price. As with other services, a discovery call is the fastest way to get a number, since "cover our event" can mean very different scopes.
